Tap extension in cast iron brass colour and 1/2 Inch BSP thread size allows to extend any fitting, giving more room for any clearance issues, same thread for both internal and external side.

Cast iron brass tap pipe extension/extender perfect to be used with bib taps. The main purpose of these thread extenders is compensation of the wall thickness, and it is used to connect wall mounted taps to supply pipework and project taps further away from the wall. The tap extension can be also used for the extension of fitting connections, discharge valves or to fit between radiator and the valve to extend the valve by 10-70mm. Bib tap wall extensions connector is manufactured from cast iron solid brass.

Please be aware that 1/2 BSP thread size is not equal to the 1/2 Inch diameter. The external diameter of 1/2 Inch thread is about 21mm.

Not bad

Due to the quality of the thread you can't use tape to seal connection. I had to use plumbing thread sealant to get it work

Just what I needed

Having built in a concealed shower control and fittings, once I had put the Jackoboard on and then the tiles, the fitting was too deep in the wall. These extensions allowed me to rectify that so my shower arm can be screwed in correctly. Great price and quick delivery too.

Does the job

Not so easy to come by. Had to search the internet to find brass 1/2 in thread extenders. Did the job adequately, nothing else to add really. However, Royal Mail delivery was shameful as it took 6 days to arrive following dispatch. Would have preferred DPD next day delivery if offered.
