Alternatively the last mentioned pipe clamp type can be used to apply extra pipe connection to existing application without need to install extra inline tee fitting.
How to use pipe repair clamps?
Applying pipe repair clamps is pretty straight forward. Please make extra precaution by cleaning the leaking pipe from debris or any other obstacles which can get in the way for clamp to be fully seating over the pipe body.
To fix pipe leak, the rubber part of the clamp needs to be placed over the place requiring repair and then strong part needs to be tighten over the rubber. Once repair clamp sits properly on its position, it will seal the leaked area. Apply rubber gasket over the pipe first, then apply upper and lower body around the gasket. Tighten with all 4 screws.
