This is a great quality tap. My old brass screw tap was leaking so I decided to replace it with a ball valve. My wife loves it as it’s so quick to turn on compared to turn after turn with the old one. Good value for money, easy to fit and well recommended.
I used these to reconnect my water softener, after it was temporarily removed for repair. I noticed the "hard water bypass" pressure was better, so and when re-installing I decided the old/original "small-bore" hose might be the cause, and I was correct. Other "big brand" hoses do not have the correct connectors at each end, I needed two female ends with correct thread sizing is these products provided EXACTLY what I needed. My shower pressure is better, BUY 100cm version and the full bore hose is chunky to manipulate and extra length is therefore necessary.
