Pipe repair clamps are one of the most basic and easy tools to fix leaking pipe. In most circumstances, pipe leak repair can be difficult, but not with pipe repair clamp which can be used for almost any, even hard to access pipe. Repair clamps are so simple to use and are effective on pipes of most sizes and majority of types. Pipe repair clamps are made from strong material like steel or brass on outside and flexible rubber pad inside. To fix pipe leak, the rubber part of the clamp needs to be placed over the place requiring repair and then strong part needs to be tighten over the rubber. Once repair clamp sits properly on its position, it will seal the leaked area. The solution of correctly fitted pipe repair clamps may last for years (assuming that no further pipe damage is expected). However we strongly recommend to apply proper pipe leak fix as soon as it is possible.
The range of our pipe repair clamps include clamps made from cast iron which are capable to fix steel pipe leaks. Clamps are sized in BSP standard. Please make sure you will check our BSP sizing table prior to the purchase to avoid unnecessary returns as BSP sizes are not straightforward related to pipe diameter measurement. Next type of pipe repair clamps are brass made clamps which can be used for temporary fixing leaks on copper pipes. We got these in 15, 18, 22 and 28mm metric sizes, so these are matching standard copper pipe sizing. We recommend to check other pipe repair clamps specification like maximum pressure and minimum/maximum working temperatures to make sure these will fit the application. Our repair clamps are capable for up to 16 bar water pressure systems and can work with up to 90 deg C temperature.
So what are the main pipe repair clamps benefits? These are cheap leak repair solution in compare to replacing the pipe. Clamps are also easy to install so there's no need to hire specialist and spend more money for their work. Clamps can be also fitted without emptying piping system so your water/heating system can carry on supplying the water/heating to your household.
