Polyethylene insulation with an extra layer of polyethylene in red colour used for insulation wherever the resistance to mechanical damage and resistance to the dew effects is required. It is used for insulating pipes for hot and cold water in heating and sanitation technology. It is characterized by simple and easy installation, as well as a quick return on investment and care for the environment (it is 100% recyclable).
Why use pipe insulation:
- Energy conservation: pipe insulation is also very important for keeping heat in the pipes and ensuring that it is conveyed to its destination without excessive heat loss. Pipes may run through cold spaces such as garages and roof voids where you don’t want heat loss into these spaces as this will make the heating system less efficient.
- Frost protection: winter usage of pipe insulation is to protect pipes against frost damage. All types of pipe can be affected by frost damage, in particular metal pipes such an copper, lead and steel which will readily split upon freezing due to the expansion of freezing water when ice occurs.

Very quick delevery
I need this part asap as none of local shops stocked it so I ordered it late on a Saturday and they arrived Sunday early afternoon and wea exactly what I wanted
I bought a basin overflow trim which turned out to be the wrong size. My fault entirely as I guessed the size! The product was delivered quckly and is exactly as described. This was a low value order, so postage is more than the item and not worth sending back. I will keep it in case it does fit something one day!

Perfect service for what was a difficult part to source elsewhere
So, had a really tricky plumbing issue in the downstairs toilet. In the process of changing a block tap to an IKEA tap, the tap tail on the IKEA tap was too short. Normally M10 size, weirdly I subsequently learned that IKEA use M8 tap tails. Having searched in the normal places (Screwfix, Toolstation, B&Q, Amazon etc), not only was it hard to find an M8 tap tail, it was impossible to find one that was 80cm long. After some further searching stumbled on Plumbing4Home where they had a wide range of lengths of M8 Tap Tails. Hallelujah, well done Plumbing4Home and delivered on time👍
It's a good little timer, and is accurate to within 10 seconds of 5 minutes. However, I thought from the picture that it would swivel on the suction cup; it doesn't. It sticks well to the shower screen and is easy to remove and restick when you want to time your shower.
