Air vent grille cover designed for ventilation ducting ending outside the building. Vent cover is equipped with ducting connection in 100mm, 125mm or 150mm sizes on it's back body. Air vent cover is equipped with anti-insects net and gravity shutters for back draught protection. 100mm ducting cover version comes in 150x150mm external dimensions. 125mm and 150mm covers come in 190x190mm external dimensions.

Gravity Shut Wall Air Vent Extractor

Reasonable plastic thickness but can still readily distort when screwing into place, causing the vanes to distort.
When fitted okay, the vanes are free moving. However, in the wind they rattle open and shut. The noise travels the 3 metres or so through the ducting and into the kitchen, which is annoying.

Just what the doctor ordered

Am insulating my garage wall as it is attached to the entrance hall which is cold. The outside tap is in the garage and will be behind the insulation. Local plumbers merchants couldn’t help with a suitable part so managed to source a 50mm extender from here which was delivered promptly. Very good product and excellent service.
