The microwave PIR motion sensor is an active movement detector. The integrated motion sensor sends high frequency electromagnetic waves (5.8 GHz) and receives an echo. The sensor detects echo changes caused by even the slightest movement in the observed area. In this case, the microprocessor issues the "LIGHT ON" command. Thanks to its high sensitivity, motion detection through doors, glass or plasterboard walls is possible.
