Soil pipe non return flap valves protecting lower household levels against flooding caused by backward flow of storm water and sewage. Soil pipe check valves are fully self-activating. Am insulating my garage wall as it is attached to the entrance hall which is cold. The outside tap is in the garage and will be behind the insulation. Local plumbers merchants couldn’t help with a suitable part so managed to source a 50mm extender from here which was delivered promptly. Very good product and excellent service.
