Fixed my problem!

When the council decided to dig up our road, we were without water for some time. The water pressure had built up, blowing our tap. An expensive tap replacement was feared but this has done the trick to make my tap last for a while longer. Thank you!

I had been scouring the plumbing and DIY shops for water tap aerator and in in not a standard size for months. Plumbing4 Home should have been on top of the " search' results as when I did get to it found it very widely and fully stocked.
